It starts at about waist height and extends upwards for a considerable distance, and it extends sidewards to just outside shoulder width. Much of the interest in some patterns lies in the deliberate violation of the idea of JuggleSpace. A JugglingTrick such as OverTheShoulder or OffTheHead is made much more interesting, even slightly shocking, by juggling for some time only within JuggleSpace, and then suddenly breaking out.
