Christopher Zeeman and entitled "Mathematics Into Pictures", it generated such a wave of interest that a Mathematics Masterclass series was set up. Since then there have been many regional groups running masterclasses. You can find out more about these from the RI website: * http://www.rigb.org/education/masterclasses ******** width="5%" ******** width="40%" The format of a mathematics masterclass is usually to have 2 1/2 hours on a Saturday morning, with a break in the middle for squash and biscuits. Several of the MathematicsTalks that Colin gives can be done in this format. The JugglingTalk is one, but others are MathsInATwist, The DistanceToTheMoon, TheDoodleTheorem, and the talk with the short title "NOOG", but with the longer title "NIM, Officers, and Other Games". ********< ----
