Question and Answer is a session often run at
the end of a Further Maths conference, or a
Maths Inspiration event. Members of the audience
are invited to submit questions about pretty much
anything they choose, although usually we try to
stay on focus with things mathematical.
On other occasions the "Question and Answer"
session is more wide ranging. Colin Wright has
been in industry since 1993, and so has experience
of using what might otherwise be thought of as
"Pure Maths" in an industrial setting. It can
be extremely useful for students to see how the
maths they study can turn up in unexpected places.
